As part of our efforts to maintain investor relations peace, SIAS has been actively promoting and advocates higher standards of corporate governance amongst listed companies as this would lead to greater transparency and build investor confidence. Investor awareness and robust corporate governance initiatives by market participants are important to build Singapore capital market.

SIAS initiated the Corporate Governance Week campaign 7 years ago with the main objective of bringing to the forefront the strong realization amongst all stakeholders that good corporate governance does promote global competitiveness and improve Company’s financial performance overtime. Part of the Corporate Governance Week’s programme is the Global Corporate Governance Conference where all the corporate governance practitioners and stakeholders meet, discuss, update and track corporate governance developments globally.
